Welcome to our 2021 Cheviot bred ewe sale. You will notice that we selected females that have been producing well for us. As most of you know, we have made complete flock buyouts of a number of prominant flocks across the country over the last several years as well as purchasing top prospects at both sales and private treaty. While we were very active showing and Cade was still a junior, increasing our numbers worked well for us. However, now that we have reduced the amount of showing we do and Cade is busy with his job, reducing numbers is a necessity. We have culled very hard the last 2 years and are very pleased with the flock that remains. These ewes are a cross section of what we have left and at ages 2-4 are in the prime of their productive lives.  All 7 ewes we are offering were synchronized to be bred for mid January lambs and all were in good standing heat.  After that initial breeding, we did not have harnesses on the rams to see if any remarked, but in the event they recycled, they would lamb at opportune times for show lambs (Early Feb, late Feb or Early March). We are confident that all ewes have sound udders and have been good milkers and good mothers. All of these females were completely slick sheared 35 days ago. We care deeply about the future of the Cheviot breed and hope these females will work as well for you as they have for us.
